You are invited to a private, in-person workshop focused on identifying persistent barriers to accelerating the Massachusetts low-carbon concrete market.

The program is informed by EFI Foundation research and preliminary stakeholder feedback and defining pathways to overcome barriers with the greatest potential impact. In this convening of Massachusetts state and municipal officials, industry leaders, and researchers, attendees will:

  • Surface persistent barriers and the challenges they pose, informed by EFIF interviews and group discussion.
  • Perform a group exercise to identify priority barriers that, if addressed, would make the biggest impact in the near term.
  • Define pathways to overcome barriers that have the greatest ROI.

The workshop will follow Chatham House Rule to encourage open discussion. The EFI Foundation will publish a summary report on the topics discussed during the workshop.

The workshop is hosted in partnership with Governor Healey’s Office of Climate Innovation and Resilience.

Please note that the agenda is still under development. Session timings and speakers will be updated as they are confirmed. All times are in Eastern Time (ET).
