You’re invited to a private Geothermal Investor Workshop hosted by the EFI Foundation and the Hamm Institute for American Energy at Oklahoma State University. This workshop will convene investors, project developers, geothermal companies, offtakers, and NGOs with government leaders.

The program takes a federal lens and complements state and regional efforts already underway across the geothermal ecosystem. Lauren Boyd, Director of the Office of Geothermal at the U.S. Department of Energy, will deliver keynote remarks.

Through our interviews with developers, investors, financiers, and utilities, we have identified the priority unlocks that would enable many developers to reach financial close. Participants will be asked to identify barriers that are constraining their development decisions, and weigh which federal mechanisms are worth pursuing.
