Ernest Moniz, Founder and CEO of EFIF and co-chair of the Nuclear Threat Initiative was quoted in the Washington Post discussing President Trump’s order to resume nuclear testing. Moniz estimated that if the United States were to set off a nuclear explosive as a “stunt,” it would take about a year.
