In a Bloomberg article that covers President Trump’s recent executive orders to accelerate nuclear deployment in the U.S., Former Energy Secretary Moniz warned that this plan to boost the domestic nuclear fuel supply could “lead to the creation of additional stocks of weapons-usable materials.”
