Anusha Tamhane is a Communications Associate at the EFI Foundation.
Prior to joining the EFI Foundation, Tamhane worked in strategic communications at Chemonics and as the marketing and communications coordinator at the George Washington University (GWU) Office of Sustainability. These experiences furthered her interests in environmental and energy justice and in making complex information accessible to broad audiences. Tamhane also worked as an intern with the U.S. Department of Commerce, as a research specialist at GWU’s Global Women’s Institute, and as a risk analyst at Credit Suisse.
Tamhane holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs with a concentration in global energy and environmental policy from GWU. Originally from North Carolina, she also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a minor in Spanish from North Carolina State University.
