The EFI Foundation is a Washington, D.C.-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to educating the public on issues relating to harnessing the power of technology and policy innovation to accelerate the clean energy transition.
Under the leadership of Ernest J. Moniz, the 13th U.S. Secretary of Energy, the EFI Foundation builds on the prior work of the Energy Futures Initiative, co-founded by Moniz in 2017.
I want to thank NASEO, the Energy Futures Initiative, and Secretary Moniz, for heroically stepping up when it became clear that the previous administration didn’t plan to meet their obligation…. It’s because of you that we know just how much the energy sector, especially clean energy, has grown in recent years.

Former U.S. Secretary of Energy
