Hannah Hirschhorn is the Operations Manager at EFI Foundation, where she oversees and improves upon internal processes and business functions, including but not limited to human resources, IT, and finance systems. She has a passion for creating supportive and inclusive work environments for her fellow staff members.
Hirschhorn has years of experience with logistical and operational support. As the operations coordinator at GLAAD, a leading national LGBT media watchdog, she led crucial initiatives including the expansion of the employee onboarding program and the integration of diversity, equity, and inclusion standards across the organization. She also standardized procedures like employee onboarding, employee travel, and intern hiring. One of the projects she’s proudest of is her calendar of staff engagement events, ranging from annual Thanksgiving potlucks and Halloween costume contests to Black History Month speakers. The goal of these events was to increase staff collaboration and satisfaction. Hirschhorn has also worked at UJA-Federation of New York and interned at The DC Center for the LGBT Community.
Hirschhorn graduated from the University of Maryland in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and minors in both women’s studies and LGBT studies.
