Initial deployment of fusion power plant possible in the next decade

In an interview on Bloomberg’s Balance of Power with David Westin, Ernest J. Moniz explains the implications of the first net energy gain from fusion. “I think we can demonstrate, and maybe initially deploy, some [fusion] power plants on the grid in the next decade,” Moniz said.
