Adam Patterson is a communications associate at the EFI Foundation.
Patterson is an editorial and policy specialist with a combined background in climate research and science, technology, and government affairs journalism. He has previously covered the federal response to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the adoption of new technologies across science and health-focused agencies. Patterson has also served as a research consultant on issues pertaining to water competition and the decarbonization policies of NATO member states. Patterson has a keen interest in the international security consequences of climate change, including the means of addressing crises relating to mass displacement, agricultural insecurity, and climate-induced conflict.
Patterson completed his graduated studies at the Johns Hopkins School of International Studies (SAIS) where he focused on insurgency and civil war born from state collapse.
