On January 19, 2023, the EFI Foundation convened a group of experts and stakeholders from the natural gas industry, the U.S. government, consulting firms, law firms, financial institutions, nongovernment organizations, think tanks, and foreign governments for the workshop, “The Role of U.S. Natural Gas Exports in a Low-Carbon World.” Participants clearly articulated that U.S. natural gas exports play a central role in achieving global energy security and climate goals. On April 25, 2023, the EFI Foundation released a summary report of the workshop to highlight the role of natural gas for energy security and decarbonization, with a focus on Europe and Asia.
