The impact of DOE cuts on America’s energy future 

Maria Galluci from Canary Media highlighted the impact of staffing and budget cuts at the U.S. Department of Energy, citing a report from EFI Foundation. Specifically, Galluci points to OCED as a major loss on the energy innovation front. Executive Vice President Alex Kizer notes that despite these cuts, numerous energy breakthroughs could be very close, “a relatively small investment from taxpayers could have an enormous benefit to taxpayers over time.”
