Ernest J. Moniz spoke with CBC to share his perspective on the shaky nature of the current negotiations with Iran. Moniz noted that the deal was signed primarily because of economic pressures from the Strait of Hormuz’s closure. Moniz observed that, “the MOU specifically states that the negotiations coming up will be restricted to the articles in the MOU, that does not include the missiles or the proxies.”
